Confirmation from Dublin Athletics Board today that Sportsworld over 50 veterans team won bronze at the Dublin 10 mile road championship race, which doubled up as the Race series 10 mile race (or what used to be known as the Frank Duffy 10)

Hi JJ,
Thanks for the feedback. All is welcome as we want to make the race as enjoyable for everyone as possible.

l’m going to look into the reason for the changing area being blocked off and make sure there are facilities next year for both mens and womens sections. To keep the race entry fee relatively low and still donate to charity the decision was made not to have a race souvenir. Printing t-shirts in small numbers is expensive and nowadays unless it’s a technical (non cotton) t-shirt research suggests most people dont want it.

The reason for the course change is Garda restrictions. Unfortunately the old course cause too much traffic disruptions. I understand your disappointed here, many people prefer the old course.

Thanks for the constructive feedback. It will be passed onto the race committee and taken on board next year.
