Why join Sportsworld?
Sportsworld has members of all ages, and abilities. People competing at national level and people who just want to run to keep fit and for enjoyment. Although there are athletes competing in elite competitions there is no elitism. Everyone starts training together and usually do the same basic training session which is tapered for the training group into which a person falls.

Terenure 5 Mile
Well done on competing in the 29th annual Sportsworld Running Club 5 Mile and second year of the Terenure 5 Mile on this new course, on Sunday 19th May in aid of the Jack and Jill foundation.
Results will be published firstly in Mondays edition of the Irish Independent. Results will be online from lunch time Monday. Results for Teams will be published on Terenure 5 Mile website for correct allocation of team categories and classes.
On behalf of “Sportsworld Running Club”. I would like thank all the participants who took part and our very generous partners and sponsors, it was another fantastic success with almost 1400 finishers, outstripping previous years.The great weather and huge turnout made all the difference.
Next year will be even Bigger, Brighter & Better; we will be 30 years old! So, time to keep up the pace, raise the training & aim for your PB on our course.
